Grand Rapids Wedding Venue Feature

Of course all the best warehouse wedding venues are a long drive for me but this wedding was so worth it! The Cheney Place in Grand Rapids is the best of both worlds. If you want the simple elegance a warehouse reception provides mixed with a whimsical cocktail hour space this venue is the spot for you! They describe their style as "urban meets vintage meets modern" and provide a beautifully curated space for your entire wedding day all under one 110 year old roof. If you can't tell by my excitement, this was my first time photographing a wedding here and I am so ready to show you some photos!

Let me tell you a little bit about the bride and groom too. Jess and Robert are so chill, which I love. They just wanted to party be present during their day. They know they're in love, and obviously so did everyone else invited to the wedding, so why waste time with the mushy gushy public declarations. Jess and Robert read private vows during an intimate first look, had a 5 minute ceremony (not kidding lol) and were able to enjoy their entire cocktail hour. I was just vibing off of them and the venue and it was such a magical and easy day.
